Located at 825 Studewood St, Houston, TX 77007, New Heights Coffee Roasters operates as a coffee roaster serving Houston in Texas. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it. Besides its main category, the business also describes itself as coffee shop, so it may cover more than the name suggests.

Coffee in the United States is served by three kinds of places: national chains with drive-thrus and mobile ordering, independent neighborhood cafes that double as a workspace or a meeting spot, and specialty shops that roast their own beans or buy single-origin lots and brew them by pour-over, espresso or cold brew. Most open between 6 and 7 a.m. on weekdays, slightly later on weekends, and the busiest hour is the commute rush before 9. A drip coffee runs a few dollars, espresso drinks and specialty pours more, and tipping a dollar or a percentage on the card reader is customary but not required. Nearly every cafe offers free Wi-Fi, though some limit laptop seating at peak times or on weekends, and outlets are often the scarce resource.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. Typical hours are 6:30 am–5 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. More information is available on its website, newheightscoffeeroasters.com.

On Google it holds a rating of 4.7 out of 5 from 262 reviews, which is a strong result for a coffee roaster in Houston and suggests consistent service.

Houston is in Texas, in the South, where summers are hot and humid, winters are short, and severe storms in spring are a fact of life; businesses run air conditioning most of the year and many open early to beat the heat. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Houston follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

This place was great! The coffee itself was good, and the vibe inside is cute. There’s decent seating and the staff was friendly and fast. I got a latte with honey syrup and my boyfriend got the seasonal cortado and both were very yummy!

JosΓ© with the glasses made me some of the most amazing coffee I’ve ever tasted! I had a Chantilly, and it was genuinely the best coffee I’ve had in years. The staff was kind, the store was clean, and the environment was aesthetically pleasing with great lighting and a semi-quiet atmosphere for working. It’s the perfect third, or even fourth, space to stop by after a workout.

I’m rating 5 stars on the pour-over alone. This is a roaster after all, the primary judging factor should be their beans. I ordered an espresso macchiato, a coffee cake, and asked for whatever they thought their best pour-over was (sorry I guess I didn’t write down the variety of bean even though I thought I did, the process is washed though). Heads up, they don’t let you take their pour-overs to go, they are for in-store consumption only. I honestly appreciate this a bit. It makes you sit and give the coffee the respect and attention it deserves. The macchiato was good, but the foam was a little less silky and had larger bubbles than I typically like, but the espresso was exquisite. I didn’t care much for the coffee cake. The crumb was a good consistency, but it had too much topping for my taste (too much sugar, cinnamon, and nuts. I would like it with less than half as much). The pour-over however, was godly. Smooth to the last sip, hints of coconut and apricot, not a trace of bitterness. Absolutely divine!

One of my favorite Houston coffee spots! Recently visited for the first time in a while. The baristas Angie and Juan were so friendly, engaging and inviting which always amplifies the experience, and set the tone for a great day! Overall, Lovely people & lovely coffee! The Chantilly is my absolute favorite drink!

Wow, this is an amazing place! I love the atmosphere and vibe. Large space and lots of options to pick from. Their Matcha specialty drink that I ordered was amazing, so much flavor and was very refreshing. I highly recommend this place and would come back
